Help save Caribbean reefs from invasive Lionfish… And eat them!
In 1992, when Hurricane Andrew struck Florida, numerous aquariums containing Lionfish were breached, introducing them into the Atlantic Ocean. Since then, Lionfish have made the east coast of North America and the Caribbean their new home. Unfortunately, these regions of the world lack natural predators of Lionfish and are filled with ignorant prey. Because of this, the Lionfish population has exploded in recent years, with devastating effects on local marine life and reef ecosystems. Learn about invasive Lionfish and how to use Lionfish removal systems safely to help remove them from aquatic environments without harming the reef or indigenous wildlife
FEATURED DIVE SITES, Lionfish Hunting&Taste
If I told you I would have to kill you 🙂
You will be the Spotter and you can help your Guide / Hunter to locate Lionfish on the reef. We will instruct you on how to avoid disturbing delicate marine life while hunting Lionfish and how to avoid being stung by a Lionfish.
If you also want to hunt actively, you must be certified as a PADI Lionfish Hunter. You can find the information about this Specialty Course here.
And at the end of your adventure the best part comes… Eat them! Enjoy our famous Lionfish ceviche and learn how to prepare it yourself.

Thanks a lot for this amazing experience!”

“We’ve just completed our PADI Wreck Diving course with them. Exceptional instructors and all of the staff are friendly and accommodating. Safety is a very high priority and the whole experience from planning our dives to talking them through afterwards was great. Highly recommended!”
Robert Smith
“It has been our third dive trip to Bonaire, we were looking to do something different and explore new dive sites, especially those that are not marked on the official map. It was a success! I will never forget our Playa Frans dive, it was magical.”
